PatternI thought that these bushes were a good example for pattern, because they're in nice rows that repeat. SymmetryThis isn't the best example of symmetry because of the busy background, but the lines are very symmetrical. TextureI really like this picture because you can see every detail of the dandelion and all of the seeds. Depth of Field'Depth of field' was a hard one to capture, but I though that this flag was cool because it was like I got a "close-up" of the 'close-up' flag. There is lots of space in front and behind the flag. This works well for the 'Depth of Field' category because the person is right on the "lines" for this picture to look nice. (Not in the center) LinesThese metal beams illustrate 'vertical lines' almost perfectly because they are evenly spaces and vertical. FramingIn this picture, I chose to frame the fire hydrant with these metal posts. PerspectiveFor perspective, I thought that this metal post was a good choice because you wouldn't normally look at a post from above, and I really like how the holes in the post look. SpaceAlthough this isn't the best example of 'space', there isn't aren't a lot of things besides the branch in the picture, and it has lots of space to breath. BalanceI chose this picture for balance because the "speaker vent" is very balanced color and line wise. ColorThis picture is full of lots of color and happiness because the flags together are very symbolic in my opinion. For this assignment, we had take pictures around the school that apply to each topic. I learned what all of these things meant, and I got to go out and try each technique myself. Some of them were complicated when I first leaned about them, but once I got to try taking pictures of them, I began to understand them more.
